DENHAM the Jeanmaker, also known as DENHAM, was founded in 2008 in Amsterdam by Jason Denham, an English jeans maker obsessed with creating top-quality denim. The brand has since expanded to include a full range of collections for men and women, including tops, jeans, and accessories.

Throughout Jason Denham's career, he has collected over 2,000 pairs of custom scissors, each with a unique story and history. But there is one pair of scissors that is the most important: his first pair of tailor's scissors that he bought in the 1970s at university, which inspired the brand's iconic logo. "I believe that every brand should have an icon, and without hesitation, the scissors were the most natural choice for us," says Jason Denham. “The scissors are the most important tool for a jeans maker; they create the first cut of a garment and determine the shape and fit of a pair of jeans. The scissors are a multi-talented tool and a distinctive element of our brand.” Each pair of jeans in DENHAM's collection is embroidered with the scissor logo, each carefully crafted from 691 stitches.
