History

Balr, an international luxury lifestyle brand, was founded in 2013 by renowned footballer Demy de Zeeuw and co-founders Juul Manders and Ralph de Geus. The brand is known for its high-end fashion, travel products, and accessories for both men and women. Balr brings the luxurious lifestyle of athletes within reach of anyone who works hard to live their dream. "Anyone can wear it in principle. It's more of a lifestyle we claim. A baller represents a sports talent leading a life with lots of money, beautiful cars, expensive hotels, big houses, and attractive women. A bit like my life. The idea is that people wearing Balr. feel just as successful as those rich footballers with their luxurious lives," says footballer Demy de Zeeuw about his brand. To gain more capital and give the brand a face, he asked footballers Gregory van der Wiel and Eljero Elia to associate themselves with the brand. They agreed, which contributed to Balr's success.
